To share information about individual project goals, progress, insights, and hindsight about approaches that have and have not worked
To foster increased integration across projects, especially in dealing with analytical and informatic challenges
To promote a unified approach to outreach and education efforts
To facilitate integration among ATOL and PBI efforts to resolve global patterns of biodiversity and biodiversification
To develop a vision and mission for future ATOL and PBI effort
